Our conservatory glass ranges from smart performance glass which helps control temperatures and auto cleaning, to highly decorative features such as bevels or decorative fused prisms & stained images normally fitted in top lights bringing extra colour into every day life. These are produced locally and incorporated into the new structure.
On top of this if you would like to alter your own Conservatory with energy saving materials we can often adapt and upgrade your existing structure to give you new and better climate control.
Bronze tint
If glare and heat gain is likely to be an issue, we offer a bronze tint glazing. This glazing enjoys a solar factor of 46% and has a visible light transmittance of 54%. Alternatively a U-Value of 1.0 can be achieved by using our low E product.
Performance Glass
Imagine a glass that offers the best of both worlds. A glass that keeps conservatories warmer in winter and cooler in summer -this is what Celsius delivers. Thanks to the use of unique technology, this performance glass offers improved insulation – enjoying a U-Value of just 1.0. Our unique coating reflects around 72% of total solar energy. This is nearly three times that of standard glass. In an age when energy efficiency is paramount, performance glass outperforms standard glass units by 50%, thereby reducing potentially expensive heating bills.
The easy clean feature enables water to run of the glass, taking most of the dirt and grime with it. The need for manual cleaning is dramatically reduced. The blue tint reduces glare by 44% all year round compared to a standard double glazed unit.
Bevelled Glass & Top Lights
To help you add the extra design flourish to your conservatory, we offer a range of bevelled and decorative top lights. These are all supplied with real lead as standard. Coloured borders can also be incorporated if requested at the time of order.
